Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

The Interfaith Thanksgiving Service was a wonderful addition to Thanksgiving Day. Hosted by the First Baptist Church of Rochester, around 300 people attended, resulting in the need for overflow seating. The First Baptist Church led wonderful music and gave a great space. Rev. Lane Campbell, of the First Universalist Church of Rochester, gave a moving sermon about gratitude in times of both suffering and joy. Readings from secular leaders, as well as Jewish, Christian, and Muslim sacred texts, illuminated our service and allowed us to grow in thanksgiving to God.
